The IS215UCVCH5 is a GE Mark VI UCV controller.   The board takes up four VME slots. Components in the faceplate include three sets of LEDs (twenty-two in all,) a DLAN+ interface, two Genius Interfaces, two ISBus interfaces, as well as two COM interfaces.   The OS for this component is QNX, which is a multitasking operating system similar to UNIX. The processor is a 486 100 MHz processor.  Memory on this controller is 8 MB DRAM with 128 KB of level 2 cache.
The Ethernet interface of the IS215UCVCH5 is a 10BaseT connector using TCP/IP protocol to communicate with the toolbox and SRTP (serial request transfer protocol) to interface between the controller and the HMI (human-machine interface.)    The component also has a micro-miniature 9-pin socket D connector.
